In three short weeks, the Hoven Healthcare Fund Drive has surpassed $250,000 and is well on its way to the five year goal of one million.

       It is humbling to witness all the hard work and passion that the committee members have been putting into the drive. Organizations are stepping forward with contributions and challenges and others are exceeding those challenges. Ideas and plans for projects and goals are coming in every week.

      The first fourth of the capital drive has seen several checks and pledges in the $5,000 to $10,000 range from individuals and couples, with challenges to top those figures. The first fourth of the drive has probably been the fastest and easiest, which means we will need to roll up our sleeves for the rest of the drive.

      The response so far has been a great tribute to our forefathers, who sacrificed to build the Hospital in the early 1940’s. Their foresight must have included the spirit they were to instill in the generations of Hovenites to come.
