(Finding in the Temple)

    The Gospel of Luke speaks of Jesus' early years known as the Infancy Narrative, the information of which is traditionally believed to come from an eyewitness...His Blessed Mother Mary. This window depicts the Finding of the Boy Jesus in the Temple, the Fifth Joyful Mystery of the Rosary. Mary and Joseph had lost track of Him in the caravan of pilgrims back to Nazareth after celebrating the Passover in Jerusalem. One can only imagine the anguish of having lost a child! But on the third day, a prefiguration of His future Resurrection, He is found again, to the joy and relief of His Parents, sitting in the Temple, listening to the Teachers and asking them questions. All who heard Him were amazed at His understanding and His answers.
