St Anthony's Staff

Linda is the Parish Secretary for St. Anthony’s, Hoven, and St. John the Baptist, Onaka. Areas of primary responsibilities include:

·         Fills the role of receptionist for the church office by answering the phone, receiving and directing visitors and parishioners who come into the church office

·         Correspondence and mailings

·         Accounts payable and payroll

·         Manages the parishioner database and Sacramental records

·         Prepares Sacramental certificates

·         Coordinates the annual Christmas concert

·         Manages donations from parishioners and others and enters into software program

·         Generates the weekly church bulletin

·         Prints and folds newsletters and other miscellaneous publications, and is responsible for mailing those materials that are mailed bulk

·         Prepares annual report and other Diocesan reports

·         Make photocopies upon request of church organizations and staff members

·         Schedules Masses

·         Supports special clerical requests from the pastor

·         Assists in funeral arrangements

·         Committee minutes


	Pastor: Fr Lance Oser Fr. Lance Oser is a native of California, where he taught for a number of years in the Los Angeles School District, but was recruited for our Diocese by Bishop Robert Carlson, who sent him to study Theology at Holy Apostles Seminary in Conn., where he obtained a Masters in Church History. Being ordained to the Priesthood on June 22, 2001 at St. Joseph's Cathedral in Sioux Falls, Fr. Lance was sent to Sacred Heart in Aberdeen for a little over a year. Bishop Carlson then appointed him Pastor of St. Anthony's in Hoven and St. John's in Onaka Oct. 4, 2002, where he continues serving today.
