Knights Of Columbus

St. William's Council 4750 of the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal Catholic men's organization, was chartered in Hoven in 1959. Major KC contributions to St. Anthony of Padua Church include the Ten Commandments monument and the church's directory, both in front of the church, and major restoration of the Crucifixion scene that is the centerpiece in St. Anthony's Cemetery. The Knights meet monthly in their Main Street home and sponsor numerous fund raising events annually, with the largest being the Annual Hunters Feed the night before the opening of every October pheasant season.

The Hoven Knights of Columbus Council maintains its own hall on the west side of Hoven's Main Street. The Knights rent out and donate the use of their conveniently-located, handicapped-accessible hall for many mid-size events.
